Many of our valued clients have purchased pups out of Bayard Acres Faith and Zupplin. Faith had a very outgoing, but calm personality. She was always quick to come greet guests, and was gentle with children. She was an outstanding mother, and loved playing with and caring for her puppies. She spent her later years roaming free on the 4 acre hobby farm where Bayard Acres labs started.

Bayard Acres Zupplin was a very loyal pet and hunting dog. We’ve enjoyed many family game farm trips, and some wild pheasant hunts with him. He earned his SR title with NAHRA and his AKC Jr. Hunter title. Pups sired by Zupplin have performed well in the field and water with retrieving and ground work. Zupplin was very loving with our children. He spent most of his final years indoors or roaming free on our 3 acre homestead. He enjoyed trips to the lake, playing with the other dogs, and retrieving right till the end. For his last year, he could usually be found snoozing in the living room, or cleaning up crumbs under the high chair.

Bayard Acres Tessa has great bloodlines. She has 3 out of 4 passes toward her NAHRA Started Retriever title as well as 2 passes toward her AKC Jr. Hunter title. She is a phenomenal retriever and works the field well. She has been phenomenal with young children, and due to her English lines, has the most calm, gentle, and loving personality.  She is extremely patient and loyal, always following right on your heels. We are very excited for her 2 daughters, Jazzy and Triss, whom we have kept to further our breeding program. Tessa  retired in 2022. She now patrols the yard, plays with her daughters -and grandpuppies at times- and takes naps on her favorite bed in our mudroom.
